1 Bedroom in house, Close to Rice Village and the Med Center

Great, quiet neighborhood – very close to Rice University and the Med Center. The house is located in Knollwood Village and is close to the intersection of S. Braeswood & Buffalo Speedway and never flooded. My home is about 1,945 square feet and the kitchen has been fully renovated. There is a utility room in the house with a newly serviced washer/dryer. I also have a security system on the house and a very nice covered patio and back yard. There is a detached garage where another car can be parked and there is room for a bike.  All common areas of the house are to be shared. My home is close to a great hike/bike trail that runs along Braes Bayou and is close to shopping centers and restaurants.

I would like a deposit amount of $500 and this amount can be paid to me in two increments during the first 60 days someone lives here. It will be returned in full if no unusual wear and tear is done to the house. I will also run a background check and would like the lease to be six months in length or longer. The rent is $675 per month ALL BILLS PAID and there is WiFi available.

The guest bedroom is fully furnished and the full sized mattress is only a year old.  There is a bathroom down the hall from the bedroom that will be used only by my housemate.

There is no need for my housemate to bring a lot of kitchen items since those are provided. The refrigerator and pantry will be shared and I’ll make room for dry goods and perishables.

I have two cats but don’t want other pets on the premises.  The cats are very affectionate and are strictly inside cats.

I’m looking for a housemate who is neat, clean and quiet.
